Overeaten sour cream and being in a really good mood cat Barsik took a walk along the ledge of the ninth floor balcony. Moving steadily, he came to the point where his head met the whitewash of the wall. Here he decided to turn around, but lost his footing and slowly and irreversibly began to fall. For an outside observer it was clear that the free fall didn't corresponded with the plans of the cat. Because the cat waved its paws instinctively a few times in midair (which really didn't help much at all), rolled its eyes and began to scream hysterically, rapidly gaining speed.
A few floors below a dude called Vasya was smoking a cigarette on the balcony. He was enjoying the warmth of the afternoon sun and the way his spit was falling onto the heads of the painters that were working there hanging in the manbasket at the third floor level. Startled by the unusual sound, dude Vasya looked up. From above exlipsing the sun something dark was coming at him. After a moment he realized that it was not only dark but soft. Barsik still screaming embraced his savior's head with all the paws he had at his disposal and overjoyed deployed his claws. Dude Vasya didn't share Barsik's joy. Having seen a lot of movies about aliens he qualified the object fallen from above as the unidentified flying one. And terrified began to scream even louder then Barsik.
These vociferous cries caught the attention of the grannies that were hanging out on the bench outside. Shame on you grumbled one of them, then spat and shook her walking stick threateningly in the direction of the building.
A few minutes later dude Vasya tore off scratching Barsik of his face. And with the furious circular movement of his arm threw the stranger back to where he had come from, in other words upwards...
